The government have launched a new subject in schools this year called PSHE. It is for teachers to decided the needs of the pupils. I am trying to campaign regarding getting first aid as part of this subject as this is not statutory at present. Even after hard work from the British Red Cross we have been unsuccessful in our mission, however we will not stop here and believe everyone has the right to learn first aid and teaching all pupils in school as compulsory education could be the difference between a life lost and a life saved! Please sign if you agree.
The government continues to leave first aid out of mandatory PSHE lessons despite the clear need for these skills. Send an email to your local member of parliament demanding they push for this to be a statutory requirement. Text three friends right now and ask them to click the link and add their names.

This wave of support proves that people want life-saving skills taught in every classroom. Post the link to your Facebook feed right now to keep this pressure on the government. Then text three friends and tell them why this instruction must become mandatory.

Great idea. This should have been a compulsory part of the curriculum from the beginning :)
