UK campus and the city of Lexington should create more parking spaces and garages for convenience. Parking is a bigger issue on campus. Therefore, each place on campus should have a parking lot free as long as they have a video that the person parking is attending the place

I have spent the last few mornings watching students circle the same lots for thirty minutes just to get to their first class on time. The stories you are sharing in the comments prove that this frustration is felt by everyone trying to navigate campus every single day.

Seeing this grow makes me think of all the times I have been late to class because I spent forty minutes circling a full lot. It is validating to know so many of you are feeling the same exhaustion and frustration with the current system.

I have to wonder if there is any correlation between parking passes sold and parking spaces available. The University is making huge sums selling passes and there is always a challenge finding a parking spot.

Parking at UK during some times of day is almost impossible. The removal of the red route which has led to the over crowding of the remaining busses makes neither option appealing. Parking is difficult and often impossible, and riding the bus is dangerous.

Parking is extremely difficult on UK's campus. It deters students from attending class, and being on time for class because they are unable to find a parking spot. Parking passes are expensive, and your not guaranteed a spot. For my graduate degree at a different university, I paid $30 for a parking pass and there is ample parking.. UK is a wonderful school, they just need to make it parking more friendly and accessible for students and workers to get to campus!

even downtown parking is bad... and the downtown isn't even that big!!! tried parking to go to Urban Outfitters and it was $8 for one garage and $7 for the other... no way I was going to pay that for 30 minutes of shopping!

They at least need to split up K lot so the commuters aren't stuck parking in the very back walking to the bus, while the people who live on campus get to park right next to the bus stop and their cars sit there for weeks.

Its ridiculous how many new dorms are being built and there has not been one new single parking lot. And K lot, which is an awful place to park anyways, isn't at full capacity right now because commonwealth is under construction. There have to be other options.

Parking on campus is absolutely ridiculous. Even if you buy a parking pass you still can't find anywhere to park. All these fancy dorms, but no where to park. It is a huge inconvenience for students that just want to get to their classes and meeting on time. The UK parking attendants are quick to give tickets and want their money. They need to provide more parking!

I shouldn't have to worry about being able to park places until after 730 when the buses stop running at 630. Its unsafe to not have parking available for students that have to stay late for on-campus events and obligations. MORE PARKING!!!
