This petition was set up for the reasons that UCAS has affected my future options yet why are my options in their hands?! UCAS cancelled my application as I had made two accounts! I had no other choice but to make two UCAS accounts, not for the extra options five was sufficient however to make my personal statements relevant to the course I wanted to attend. I applied for Law courses and Art courses. What options do UCAS give you to apply for such separate options?! NONE! UCAS states your personal statement doesn’t have to lean towards a particular course, however how you expect the prestige universities to take your application seriously when you are applying for such different courses!!! Shouldn't we be able to apply directly to the universities without going through this insufficient system they call 'UCAS'! UCAS needs to start addressing applications to certain candidates that aren’t in the so called 'normal position'. UCAS should tailor everyone’s needs otherwise if you are in a unique position you don't have any options available to you! If you’ve had problems with university applications this is where changes will start, I need your feedback to make these changes happen!
