The grounding of the 737-MAX has affected SWA operations everywhere. But we in IN-FLIGHT have really suffered. Commuting flights have lessened, no trips in open time available, trading is nearly impossible; loss of happiness, loss of lifestyle, pain and suffering and the list goes on and on... and that was in 2019! We haven't even calcluated 2020

WHAT AM I ASKING YOU TO DO?
Sign the petition pushing our available tools with the union. On Feb 21st I will make a motion at the union membership meeting in Las Vegas to form a special committee to investigate pursuing legal action against Boeing.

We have questions! We want answers! Real answers, not the dance around kind that lead us nowhere.

Lets use our voice to get the Union to work for us like they should!

Updates

February 23, 2020

We have reached the two hundred fifty signature threshold which provides the leverage needed for the upcoming union meeting. I am finalizing the language for the motion to establish an investigation committee. This document will be presented formally to the membership during the session in Las Vegas.

We are approaching the 250 signature milestone which will serve as the baseline for my presentation at the upcoming union membership meeting. Please direct three colleagues to this page today so we have a stronger position when I move to form the investigative committee.

February 18, 2020

We are approaching the one hundred signature threshold which is the minimum benchmark required to force a formal review of my motion at the upcoming meeting. I need everyone to get two colleagues to sign today so we can secure the necessary leverage before I submit the documentation for the committee formation.

This investigation is so important for the lives that were lost and the lives of those who will fly and work on the max in the future. Money won't bring back lost lives but it helps those who have lost there livelihood and quality of life. Focus on transparency and honesty and safety is what will bring us back to Boeing.

I am NOT trying to cut back yet my income is lower by approx 1/3rd in comparison with the last few years. With the MAX issues there aren't enough trips to work my standard.

Routes have had to be changed and we are down 37 Max A/C which effects trips therefore our pay. Please follow SWAPA’s footsteps and file a suit against Boeing.

The union chased me down for non payment when I was sick and out of work. I wish they would have the same energy for Boeing who has many of us losing wages.

There needs to be transparency, honesty and accountability. Our quality of life has been directly impacted by no fault of our own. Our voices MUST be heard.

The Max removal is affecting my livelihood, my income, and my lifestyle. I am now working six days a week and making less money. This is a real situation for ALL of us in inflight. It seems to ONLY be affecting flight crew financially.

I, too wonder why inflight shared with salaried and management; and why it was combined with profit sharing?
