Petition for TWU-Dallas students looking to open the Dallas campus on Sunday from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. regularly. This will allow students to study, meet with groups, and utilize the school's facilities, including the workout room.
In addition to opening the school on Sunday, we hope to add extended hours before and during Finals week. This would include keeping the school open until midnight the entire week before and during finals in addition to the added Sunday hours.
This petition is only for current TWU students on the Dallas Campus. Please use your current TWU email to sign the petition. In the comment box, please comment your program and class.

Two hundred and fifty people have signed this now which honestly feels surreal because I remember staring at the screen when it was just me and my roommate. It keeps hitting me that so many of you actually want a place to study on Sundays that much and hopefully the administration is starting to feel that same pressure too.

DPT Grad 3: Keeping campus open on Sundays would have greatly helped our studying efforts, especially near midterms and finals. Many of our resources that are needed to study and practice are only available on campus (such as cadaver lab and rehab equipment).
It would be nice to actually be able to use some of the student services we are required to pay for!
Sunday hours would be awesome! At least just the back of the library where the study rooms are. The local libraries close early and its really difficult to study at home.
This is absolutely necessary! As a graduate student, many times our groups have to find other locations to meet on Sundays to practice presentations, etc. that are due on Monday. Having access to the computer lab on a Sunday should be a given.

Yes I think this would be a big help for students working on group projects or students in need of a great third space for study needs.

There is no other place suitable to meet for group projects. The majority of my class commutes to campus from places over 30 miles away so having the school open allows us to utilize the computer lab and library resources to print and work on things together.
