Twitch, your streamers are losing faith in your service. Why?

1: Your App only creates follower numbers, which are completely pointless to them, and undermine all the hard work they have put into their content creation and community building. The follow count does NOT lead to channel viewers.

2: Your streamers enjoy engaging with those in their community and welcoming new viewers to the channel. They have resorted to turning off their follower notifications due to the over-abundance of interruptions to their stream and gameplay. Welcoming people to the channel when they follow, who aren't actually watching has become VERY tedious, and has led to actual new viewers being overlooked on the assumption that your app generated another ghost viewer.

Your viewers, who are also the ones responsible for providing donations, subs and tips to the streamer through your platform, are losing faith in your service due to the interruptions and the constant stress being placed upon their favourite streamers. Often, streamers are friends, and it's difficult to watch them go through struggles that should never be placed upon them.

Please rethink the way your App works. In its present state it is a DISSERVICE to all those who directly or indirectly are forced to engage with it.
