The government finally committed to twinning the remaining stretch of Highway 63. This win belongs to every one of you who stayed focused on this goal until they had no choice but to listen. We will keep watching the construction phase to ensure they actually complete the work.

My name is Donna Burke Hardy. May 23 2019, was the worst day of my life. This was the evening an officer came to my door in PEI, to tell me my husband was the latest casualty of Highway 63. The Highway that our husbands, wives and children travel on every day to make a living in Fort McMurray Alberta.

This Highway is known as the Highway of Death. My mission on Steven's behalf is to see change happen; to never have another wife have that knock on her door. With the help and support of so many, I know I can make a difference.

The Highway has successfully been twinned as far as Fort McMurray. Statistically, the heaviest flow of traffic happens North of Fort McMurray on a daily basis. This section of highway has not been twinned.

People from across Canada work in Fort McMurray. This casualty affects us all. Please support me, and sign this petition and let's bring change together!!!!

Surprised this hasn’t been done yet, especially with the slope of super test combined with the ice in the winter. Get this done!

I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. I drive this highway Monday to Friday and am constantly on edge of someone coming across the lines.

I drove this highway from Suncor main plant to Fort Hills ,, for a 6 month period 4 times a day and seen an RCMP vehicle once in six months , I drove during the heaviest of traffic during the morning and evening and during mid day , very dangerous highway .

With the kind of money that is earned in this part of Alberta, I do not understand why this road has not been twinned. Heavy equipment, lots of work people travelling to and fro makes it a necessity.

Government peaches safety everyday. How about practicing what it preaches. It’s time to fix and complete that highway in the name of safety, so nobody else’s family has to suffer the loss of a loved one.
