I am a steel worker at Cammel lairds and today received a letter of at risk of redundancy on the 10th of December?? Wtf is all that about at Christmas?? Do these people even selebrate Christmas?? And after signing a £619 million deal to support the RFA navy supply ships and starting ten years work with BAE barrow building units for the dreadnaught submarines. ?? Work which is all in an starting now.. an the yard still has a mostly Eastern Europen workforce?? No it’s clear to us all on the shop floor at lairds is going down the rout of cheep feighen labour?? Are unions, GMB and unite will not telling this how it is cause they are all about being politically correct.. and not saying it how it is?? local labour being replaced by cheep feigned laobur..

Need to keep cammell laird using local workforce instead of using trying to outsource labour for cheap and some cases semi skilled workforce. It is dangerous and is purly just so they can male more profit pff tax payers money

Stand firm together, stay firm, they can’t finnish all the men, so all for one.... stand side by side, before you never work together again. There are too many people thinking about today and not tomorrow, yes we will be out of pocket now, but over the next 10 years we’ll be a lot better off. STAND STRONG.... so you can’t be knocked down. Good luck guys
