As tennis member's of Harbour Island Athletic Club we have all avoided playing on Court 11. The pros with the exception of one, and all clinics are never seen using Court 11. Court 11 can be dangerous to play on because it is in really bad shape. When it rains, Court 11 floods and is the last court at the facility to be dry enough to play on. Even after dry periods, Court 11 is too wet and slick. It doesn't play like a clay (Har-Tru) court. We think that Court 11 would be a great US Open style hard court. It would offer our members the ability to practice and prepare for hard court matches at other facilities. It would be easy to squeegee it dry after rain events. It would dramatically improve the safety profile of the court. Please offer your support by signing this petition to change Wellbridge's Harbour Island Athletic Club Court 11 into a hard court.
