The road was there before the golf course - the only real reason there is a movement to close the road. Please keep the road public - listen to your constituents and do not pander to the voices of the few - no matter how large their contributions to your political careers. Thank you.

I live in a development off Sebonac Road and use Tuckahoe Road almost daily. To close that road for the few golfers that do not live there and seldom play there, is incredulous! If it happens, it would be politics as usual. The word Town, stands for the people of the town and the Town Supervisor should know this and act accordingly.

If this road is such a safety hazard, why haven't other methods....lowering speed limits, marking golf crossings on the road to name two... Been attempted?

We already gave away the beaches. Don't give away the roads.

This road is a beautiful scenic road that should be shared with everyone. Please don't take it away because of some impatient golfers that have to wait a minute to cross the road when a bike or cat is taking a scenic drive.

This cannot happen. It's a public road. just because the golf course is on both sides for a section doesn't make it theirs!

I don't remember giving anyone in Town Hall permission to "negotiate" the sale, trade or transfer of any part of MY road.
And, Surprise!!! all over-moneyed morons. There are some things that money can't buy. This would be one of them.
The course, the community and the road have related for over 100 years. Leave it alone.

This is one of the most peaceful vista's in the East End. Overdevelopment threatens our community and part of the goal of the town is also to protect the scenery that makes this a special place. If the town allows this land grab to proceed it will open the door to any group who feels they can just buy what they want from us and the regular citizens will not be protected from being denied the magical settings of this place.

How much more do the rich want. Moats ,draw bridges, indentured servants ( oh I think they have them already)
