This is a solution in search of a problem. The inconvenience of a few should not give rise to the disruption for the many.

Southampton/North Sea resident. I believe that this is opening a precedent that anyone with deep pockets can get what ever they want in this town. This is a very dangerous decision. The Town has continued to say that they are working to provide a quality of life to its local (struggling) residents however, if this is approved, it will prove, once and for all, that Southampton Town panders to the weathy, summer residents and not their own constituents.

This club has never acknowledged the locals who go out of their way for the club when it has its open events. How about a lottery for locals to get a chance to play one day a year at their club?

None of this makes any sense whatsoever. Road has never been an issue. It's closed during major events and is a beautiful Vista for all to enjoy. Don't even consider this land grab attempt. The public will not stand for it.

Despite the overwhelming opposition by the community, it seems like our Town is more interested in placating the elite at the golf course. A rip off by the super-rich.
The 5M or so they offered is only small change "petty cash" to them. Now if they would pay that annually in perpetuity at the rate of inflation to reduce our taxes, maybe there could be a basis for discussion so long as the scenic views were preserved for the community.

Absolutely not! This is another example of giving away what belongs to the public to benefit the privileged few who belong to this club. There is no safety issue here. Just an attempt to enlarge a private club at our expense . A paving job does not even come close to the beauty and convenience of Tuckahoe Road. Pay attention to who supports this type of take away from the community and remember

Absolutely against this plan. Golf course is not used in colder Winter months. People who now use road would be inconvenience. What benefit is this to town. We waste more money than they would pay us

We elected the Town Board to protect the rights of "all" not just the privileged few. Keep this road open !
