Final supporters
Our local infrastructure is overburdened during interstate 80 closures. The goal of this petition is to compel Town of Truckee Staff, Council Members and Law Enforcement to enact a local traffic ordinance that prohibits vehicles from idling or standing on public roadways while interstate 80 is closed. Non local traffic will be redirected to parking lots or directed elsewhere to allow for local traffic circulation during freeway closures.

My kid was late to practice again because of the gridlock. It is just dangerous at this point.
Finally someone said it. Getting groceries is impossible on those days. Fix the traffic flow!
total chaos every time i80 closes. redirect the traffic somewhere else so we can actually get home.
TRUCKEE IS NOT A PARKING LOT. STOP LETTING THEM BLOCK THE STREETS.
Totally agree. Cant even get an ambulance through if someone has an emergency. Do something!

Living here is a nightmare when the pass shuts down. People just park in the middle of everything blocking my driveway for hours. Needs to stop.
