Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's husband is refusing to testify in the investigation into his wife's alleged abuse of power. Uncooperative witnesses and the false accusation that the probe is politically motivated are effectively sidetracking the investigation until after Election Day.
Palin also objected to the probe and refused to cooperate. Palin boldly refused to even acknowledge the legitimacy of the investigation and the power of the Legislature.
"Sarah Palin initially welcomed the bipartisan investigation into accusations that she dismissed the state's public safety commissioner because he refused to fire her ex-brother-in-law, a state trooper, and was quoted as saying, "Hold me accountable". But she is now refusing to even recognize the authority of the Legislature. The McCain camp dispatched a powerful legal dream team to Alaska to help out Gov. Palin's small town local lawyer. The goal is to stall the investigation until after the elections.
The McCain-Palin campaign said Thursday that Gov. Palin is cooperating with a separate Alaska State Personnel Board investigation into Troopergate. Palin initiated that investigation after she joined McCain's ticket. The three-member board has been appointed by Sarah Palin herself.
The Legislature that started the probe into Troopergate is comprised of 8 Rebublicans and 4 Democrats who almost unanimously decided to investigate the abuse of power by Gov. Palin.
We, The People of the United States, must find out the TRUTH before it is too late! We CANNOT wait until the election is over. We MUST know now!
Tell Gov. Palin that this investigation is fair and unbiased; that she is not above the law and cannot refuse to ackowledge the charges. Tell her that this investigation will not be sidetracked and that you will not allow her to circumvent the truth.
It is honestly surreal to see so many people actually clicking and engaging with this because I really wondered if anyone out there still cared about the accountability aspect. The momentum is just wild right now and I keep refreshing the page while pacing around my living room because it feels like we finally have a real spotlight on what is happening in Alaska.

The people of alaska deserve answers. Stop stalling and let the facts come out before the voting starts. This is just sad.

Hold her accountable like she asked. Why block the truth if you didnt do anything wrong? Seems like they have plenty to hide.

This whole thing is a joke. She cant just walk away from an investigation because she got a big promotion. Unbelievable.
