The local authority has denied the planning application and Trinity Hall will remain untouched. I am truly grateful that so many people recognized the value of preserving our history. We should remain attentive to the upkeep of the building to ensure it stays protected in the years ahead.

We the undersigned ask Tower Hamlets Local Authority to deny the planning application to build three modern apartments on the roof of Trinity Hall at 6 Durward St, London. We wish to preserve this classic Victorian building and keep it free from modern additions.

Keep Durward street the way it is. We have enough of these glass boxes popping up everywhere already.

This building is beautiful just as it is. Why ruin a classic victorian facade with ugly modern boxes?

My grandad used to talk about this hall. It would be a total shame to lose the character of the place just for a few flats.

Ridiculous idea. It doesnt fit the style of the street at all. Leave it alone.
