Seeing one thousand signatures on this petition truly knocks the wind out of me. That path by the water is where my own children learned to ride their bikes and it belongs to all of us.

Seeing this much support for our path shows that I am not the only one who cherishes these morning walks. It hits home to know so many of you view this space as an essential part of our community life.

Such a shame. Used to be a lovely community spot but now it is all about profits. Sort it out management.
This whole place is becoming a tourist trap for people who dont live here anyway. Leave it alone.
Ridiculous. We have walked round this lake for years and now they want to tax us for fresh air. Greedy.
Disgraceful. The people of stoke have kept that place going through the hard times. Now they just want our money.
I go there every single morning with my dog. How am I supposed to afford paying every day just for a walk??

KEEP IT FREE. It is one of the only nice places left to go around here.
