DISD food has been serving low nutrition, low quality food for as long as I can remember. It is even the same quality as the food in our jail systems here in Texas, and it is pathetic. If our students are going to learn and grow they need to be able to fuel their bodies properly. This is a joke

I went to townview from 09-13. The lunch was horrible when I was there and I am so glad that someone is stepping up and speaking out against these poor meals. keep up the good work and good luck!

I believed us students should have healthier and great food. The food we have now is horrible , old and disgusting. Some milks are spoiled. Some food are spoiled or something inside of it such as a roach .

I can definitely support this act for a healthier, fulfilling, and appetizing school lunch. Its time for DISD to aknowledge this need. The lunch has been at most mediocre , for years. Time for a change #DISD

The food we receive in Townview (and I'm sure in other DISD schools) is poorly nutritional and extremely disgusting. I am sure I deserve better quality of food in order to continue my classes throughout the day. Please change the lunch menus.
