It's sad my niece has to eat this and any other child!! Do something about this DISD!!! Unacceptable her chicken was bledding when they did decide to bless the kids with a "hot" meal. You are looking at a law suite soon

I must say I am appalled at what these children are eating for lunch. This is a snack. To provide snacks for children for lunch in an area that is considered improvished is socially, professionally, and academically irresponsible. Shame on you DISD.

TAG Alumna, Class of 2010. You can't expect students to learn until their basic needs are being taken care of. It's Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

PLEASE FEED THEM REAL FOOD. As a graduate from this school, it saddens me to see this happen to students who work very hard everyday and are not nourished properly.

I graduated in 2009 out of Little Rock, Arkansas.. I think this issue runs across majority, if not all of our 50 states.
