Secondary History Teacher, Twin Peaks Charter Academy

As a grandmother to three TPCA children I pray for safety for them and their classmates, teachers, and staff daily. I would love to see the added protection a Security Resource Officer would bring. Our children and all the adults guiding them deserve nothing less.

My two grandsons attend TPCA, and I am there quite often. I think an SRO is needed. I would rather see one for each front door.

As this is a rising concern amongst our country, especially in our State I do not see why we would not make this investment in our teachers and children’s safety.

I have a 5th grader im blessed to hug everyday after school Kendrick mom doesnt we need more heros like him perhabs one with training and not a student , you can tell our kids are as sick of this as we are the proof is they are fighting back the minutes after the attack is a minute too late , would love to drop off my kids at school without that sick thought crossing my mind please God no school shootings today , kids should worry about grades and friends prom not taking cover.

I have one foster child and two grandchildren enrolled at TPCA. Count my name 3 times!!!
