Hillside Squeeze becomes another victim of the Townsville City Council lack of vision for beautiful Castle Hill.
We are gathering support for a commercial permit for a juice and smoothie bar on Castle Hill.

We the local residents & rate payers request the Townsville City Council give consideration to the unsupported/declined request for a commercial location application for a mobile juice bar, opening on Castle Hill Summit, lot 19 Paxton Street North Ward Townsville and the strand Townsville. We the undersigned local residents & rate payers, understand that this professional, family run, mobile vendor entity “Hillside Squeeze” Will not be a permanently fixed structure and we have no problems with Hillside Squeeze working within times of 6.00am to 9.30am & 3.00pm to 6.30pm around Castle Hill area Monday to Saturday. We the undersigned local residents & rate payers feel that Hillside Squeeze will not exacerbate any problems currently faced by local council. We the undersigned local residents & rate payers also feel any fixed premises in the local area with goods and services similar to food, juice and coffee are too far away for the patrons of beautiful Castle Hill. We the undersigned feel it’s time that Townsville City Council “Raise the bar” and allow a very professional, family run, mobile vendor entity like Hillside Squeeze to operate on Castle Hill Summit, Lot 19 Paxton Street North Ward Townsville and the strand Townville.

Townsville City Council - please wake up to the fact that we need to spread our wings and meet the demands, wants, wishes and adventure that both residents and visitors to this city demand! Let's be proactive both in support of local buisiness and market trends....this sort of business exists all over the world... why can't it exist here?
Townsville revolves around Castle Hill, it's the towns beating heart, this guy has come up with an idea that is a perfect adornment for the hill, without being commercial and feeling like someone is trying to profiteer. Let it go, and if it doesn't become an inclusive part of what is the hills pulse, then he can cut his losses, but I think if you give him the permit, it will be an institution before too long
Not only is this a family run business, it isa local business run by locals. I think the councilshould be looking after local people.
It is needed, especially after walking the hill and then to be able to have a refreshment would make it an added bonus
This is want Townsville needs!!! This council needs to wake up and understand they are holding Townsville back. This would only increase visitors to Castle Hill thus helping tourism. Listen to the rate payers and you will hear they want to promote local business in the North.
