Please, please MLSE change the Toronto Raptors franchise name. At the time is seemed like the catchy thing to name a team, but its horrible and flat out embarrassing. Dinosaurs aren't cool and never have been. Bring back the "Huskies", help bring back NBA history. I also think it would be a fresh start for a franchise that in 15 years really hasn't done anything. And considering we stand to lose the face of our franchise this summer, what better time than now. GO HUSKIES GO!

The reach of this petition has surpassed my initial projections and caught the attention of local sports columnists. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal to present to MLSE leadership regarding the rebranding process.

Raptors was always such a joke of a name. Jurassic park ended years ago for a reason. Bring back the huskies and give us a real identity.

Huskies is a classic name. Represents toronto way better than some cartoon dinosaur. Do it.

Bring back the history. The huskies name has way more class than what we have now.
