On 07/07/15, The New York State Capital Boxing Legend Tony "Sewa" Marshall was suspended/penalized by city officials because of a music video controversy recently breaking the television and internet waves. Legendary Boxer 7 time champ, Tony "Sewa" Marshall has been mentoring the youth for over 20 years in the Capital Region. We, as the producers of the video would like to post this petition in favor of The Champ Tony Marshall.

Suspending a man who got permission from his supervisor so im wondering if his supervisor is suspended as well? Don't worry i'll wait
sinceless to fire this man when he asked for permission from his boss an got the ok also it was a POSITVE video for a former champion
Tony has been working with my son for almost 2years at the gym and my son loves him. He has helped him progress tremendously. It saddens my son, my family and myself to have him taken away. We need Tony back
He should not be suspended. The video was not offensive to the community. What has happened to Tony is offensive, using him for political gain.
Tony Marshall is Albany. He sponsored my softball team when nobody else would. Anybody who meets him will know he is not only the champ. But the PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ALBANY CHAMP. REINSTATE OUR CHAMPION TONY MARSHALL!
This is sad, Tony is and has always been great with the children. They will try to persecute any positivity in the hood coming from a black man.

Despite the fact that it seem like the content in the video is a contradiction to what he does for the community, I do not feel that the video was negative. It was a statement of working hard towards success and then celebrating what you have accomplished. To be powerful and feel like Tony Marshall! Yes it had profanity in the lyrics, but the "B-word" was not referring to a female. YOU GUYS (the media), allow sexual content on NATIONAL TELEVISION and ALSO ALLOW the word "Whore" on your radio stations. There are other things going on in the world that need spotlight but NO! Lets put fire on some local people who are just entertain others. ITS THE BIGGEST CONTRADICTION! Leave this damn man alone and give him his job BACK!
