I’ve been a fan since my teens. I’m now 65 and still think he’s the best DJ. He deserves this through all the changes to broadcasting that has happened throughout the years and at 80 still entertains his listeners.
Why this NATIONAL TREASURE has not received recognition for his services to the music industry beats me! This man is incredible. Saturday mornings would not be the same without him or the golden hour on Sundays. Please give this wonderful man a Knighthood.
i think this man is the most wondifull man in the radio station he always puts a smile on peoples faces .my husband and i use to be D,J and he was ower inspation to the music and sound of the 50/60/ music we think he is fantastic he should be knighted and why not he is a very good man
Tony Blackburn has entertained us for over 50 years, always made us giggle, and always been a great role model with integrity and dignity. No many people you can say that about. He makes us feel like he's a friend. This is why I think he should be given a Knighthood
Absolutely Long overdue !!! At the forefront of our ' Musical Memories ' ...since the days of Radio Caroline ...and Superb memories of his uplifting voice each morning before my Convent School in Ladbroke Grove.... A Genius!

He's been playing great music (and especially his love of soul music) for close on 60 years which has brought Joy & Happiness to millions over this time and created so many great memories and he thoroughly deserves a formal recognition for this
