Our mutual respect for Tom Hiddleston has provided us with hope, strength, support and everlasting friendships. We, as a collective, would like to extend this to those in need through our local Red Cross organisation.
The Red Cross is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, an international humanitarian movement founded to protect human life and health, to ensure respect for all human beings, and to prevent and alleviate human suffering. The Tom Hiddleston Blood Drive 2014 supports the Red Cross Blood Service at local and national levels, with independent participants making whole blood, red blood, platelet and monetary donations at their local Red Cross office.
Participation is as simple as a donation to the Red Cross by February 28th. Once you have donated, sign this petition. All information will be forwarded to Tom Hiddleston, Tom's PR representative Luke Windsor at Public Eye and the Red Cross.

This was going to be my first time donating blood. Unfortunately I am dealing with an autoimmune flare-up so they told me to wait until I was feeling more healthy. I wanted to show support to Mr. Hiddleston one way or another so I made my monetary donation. Blessings to Mr. Hiddlestion for all he does.
Although I can't give blood in my country as i am like half a year to young. I have persuaded as many people as I can too, including like half my family. I have also donated money. Also i want to say to whoever came up with this blood drive this is a brilliant thing to do.
I donated platelets on the 3rd, and will again the 17th. I've been donating since I turned 18. It is SO IMPORTANT to do this, particularly if you're like me and have a rare blood type (AB-, 7 in 1000). It saves lives!!
I was already planning on donating to my schools blood drive on the 17th, but this all the more encouragement to get my family, friends and 1,800+ tumblr followers to go. Yay for saving lives in our dear Tom's honor!
There's a blood drive at the hospital I work at on Monday. Could it be any easier? This is such a sweet idea. I'm happy to honor Toms birthday in such a compassionate way.
