The Provincial Government needs to develop a Comprehensive Transportation plan for Sechely up to Hope. Tolling a couple of bridges is not sharing the pain equally.

I realize that we need taxes however tolling our roads is absolutely disgusting and takes away our freedom.

There is no reasonable transit alternative from Maple Ridge to Langley. 1.5 hours minimum commute each way. Yet I pay transit taxes, gas taxes, carbon taxes and now $150 a month for tolls? I have nothing left!

Please go back to $1.50 for port maan brdge. And keep carpool toll rates 24/7 not just during rush hour. Tolling the only other option is going to eliminate most of my travels to the city!

When you calculate annual tolls for a lot of commuters. an additional $1200 plus is a huge additional tax burden!! We need more accountability on Govt

Gov't should use the road taxes they collect on gasoline purchases to finance the roads and bridges and not absorb them into general revenues.

Totally agree with your comment, why wasn't the Sea to Sky Highway Tolled? I guess the Government ran out of money after the Olympics.

Each toll I am charged creates a hardship on our family. We are single income due to a child with a chronic life-threatening health condition. We CANNOT afford to pay more and I need the bridge & tunnel to get to work. There are already more than enough layers of taxation in place to cover these types of capital expenses. Start allocating them accordingly and stop dumping them into general revenue. Also, take a look at management and contract awards and ensure that they are as efficient as possible.

Abolish them or make all crossings a nominal fee like .25 cents!
