I'd rather pay higher taxes for all the services I want than this continual, selective nickel and diming. There is no sense in having low taxes if you don't bring in enough for the services we need. I'd also like to see substantial, concrete penalties for governments who continually waste our precious tax dollars by hiring their friends and signing stupid contracts that rip us off!

This is how those of us in coastal communities have felt for years about ferries. Perhaps a little more understanding might be forthcoming from lower Mainlanders now?

1. Reduce toll fee; 2. Add toll camera for all bridges crossing Fraser River.

Everyone in the province benifits from all our infrastructure. We should all pay. Tolls just let the politicians off the hook of creating the line item in thier budget.

1/2 a million is what it cost for infastructure to collect the port mann tolls. It should be a simple vechicle levy for all British columbian's. A road is a road and we all drive on them. Why are bridge different then say the Sea to sky hiway when they have similiar price tags. If you must toll the port mann then just toll the bridge portion of 1.3 billion and not all the other upgrades making it a 3 billion project.

We avoid all toll bridges like the plague. The projections for both the Golden Ears Bridge & the Pt.Mann Bridge were quite obviously false. The provincial government continues to rape & pillage the taxpayer through tolls and crown corporations. Complete abuse of power, Clark & her mindless puppets should step down NOW!

as a commuter, I am now not able to afford to visit my family who live across the Port Mann Bridge. This bridge separates families and friends from each other. Whatever happened to FAMILIES FIRST

$1.50 was acceptable, $3.00 c'mon. I go out of my way to avoid the toll. It's an out of touch gov't that needs to go!

Toll all bridges across the Fraser would be more fair.

this gov't.continues to rip off the taxppayer(you and me)and will continue to do so until taxpayers raise their voices loud enough so that the Liberals will listen. It works look at John Les being removed when complaints were made.

$55000 per year in property and income not including all hidden taxes!! There is no reasonable alternative route to the port Mann and everyone who uses the new freeway but is fortunate enough to live west of the bridge benefits without paying...Stop the toll!!!!

I'll sign this petition, but we also need to fund ferries in a fair manner. Ferries are the coastal communities highways and the gov't needs to stop gouging us too!

We already pay taxes for road/highway improvements. Stop stealing from taxpayers.
