The park officials confirmed they are moving the guinea pigs to their own enclosure. I am genuinely stunned that our little request worked and this is entirely because of the compassion you all showed. Please keep an eye on the park to ensure they settle into their new home safely.

Thus, we as concerned guinea pigs owners and lovers who live in and outside Luxembourg, would like to kindly request the commune of Esch s/ Alzette to separate the guinea pigs from the other animals that are kept in the same cage at the moment in Galgenberg animal park.

Please seperate the guinea pigs from the other animals. You have such a wonderful opportunity here to educate children and adults alike as to the wonders of these amazing and fragile little creatures. You are in a wonderful place to offer guidance to the people of the community on the care and love they need to recieve. Please help proved the guinea pigs a better home and the people a better understanding.
Please seperate these guys from the chicken and other animals. I love that they can be shown to the public, but why not use the oppotunity to teach about them as well? They are adorable but fragile.
Both rabbits and chickens pose significant threat to the health and wellbeing of Guinea pigs. Apart from the fact that they can cause life threatening injuries and prevent the Guinea pigs from eating, they naturally carry bacteria which can be deadly to Guinea pigs. This is a chronically unsuitable housing arrangement, please separate the Guinea pigs into their own, suitable accommodation or rehome them.
As the owner of three guinea pigs, I know quite a lot about them. They should never be housed with chickens or any other kind of birds as birds are a natural enemy of guinea pigs, and rabbits provide extreme competition for for food. It's critical that guinea pigs feel safe and are homed with only other guinea pigs.
i have kept guinea pigs for many years. i am 35 and had my first pair of piggies aged 8. I have heard horror stories of guinea pigs being crushed to death by bunnies- a friend of mine had a guinea pig and a rabbit together before i knew her and the rabbit sat on the guinea pig until all the bones in its body were crushed. Chickens could peck at guinea pigs and from a hygiene point of view i do not believ it is safe for guinea pigs or bunnies to be around chicken poop.
Oh please, please please give all Guinea pigs their own separate enclosure. They cannot defend against rabbits or chickens. As herd animals, they are meant to be only with their own kind. A concerned cavy lover
THIS IS RIDICULOUS YOU NEED TO FIX THIS AND SEPERATE THEM. They could be hurt and abused by the chickens RUDE.

It's dangerous to keep guinea pigs near chicken. Beside the hygiene question (because of the chicken's feces) is it also dangerous because chicken are bigger and stronger and have beaks that can poke the guinea pigs in their eyes and so on. Please find a solution for this problem! Many thanks in advance
