Guinea pigs are ideally to be separated from rabbits, birds,and especially chickens as 1)chickens can seriously hurt the pigs with their beak, 2)the pigs are prone to diseases carried by the other animals, 3)rabbits can potentially bully the pigs by kicking them with their strong back legs.

Thus, we as concerned guinea pigs owners and lovers who live in and outside Luxembourg, would like to kindly request the commune of Esch s/ Alzette to separate the guinea pigs from the other animals that are kept in the same cage at the moment in Galgenberg animal park.
