Dear Chief Executive John Lee and the HKSAR Administration

We are concerned Hong Kong citizens from all across the city. We love the city, and look forward to its new chapter under your government. However, the current quarantine measures quite simply do not work - businesses are adversely and hugely affected, investors and corporate travellers find our arrival quarantine routine deeply alienating, and our competitiveness as a financial and commercial hub is waning, despite the fact that Hong Kong remains an incredibly instrumental gateway to China. We are writing to you with the hope that you would remove all quarantine restrictions for inward travellers to Hong Kong who are fully vaccinated (two jabs or more) and who test negative 72 hours prior to arrival. The rest of the world has moved forward with such shifts. We are of the view that Hong Kong must act promptly, in order to rescue its economy from the brink.

我們是一群熱愛香港的香港市民，也期盼在你們的有力領導下， 香港能在一國兩制下能開創新篇章。 我們認為現時香港針對入境旅客的檢疫隔離政策對於香港的營商環境 及國際競爭力構成嚴重影響 -- 在地中小企銷量及盈餘受到嚴重衝擊、 投資者及商業旅客對到臨香港感到卻步、 我們作為中國及世界的金融商業中心正在消退。 我們仍相信香港乃是中國對外， 以及國際社會進入中國的核心橋頭堡。正因如此， 我們希望你能慎重考慮，讓完成接種新冠疫苗（兩劑以上）及在抵港前三天內新冠檢測結果陰性的旅客，能免去一切隔離限制。綜觀世界各地， 絕大多數國家及國際城市也採納了類似的抗疫政策。 我們認為香港不能再耽誤下去， 否則對香港及全國都會有嚴重的長遠經濟影響。
