I have submitted a formal request for a traffic study to the Saint Paul Public Works Department regarding the intersections in Payne-Phalen. I am currently waiting for a point of contact to schedule a review of the existing pedestrian data.

people drive way to fast down this street. i have kids and im always worried when we walk to the park.
PLEASE fix the lights here. almost got hit twice last week just trying to get groceries.
THE CROSSWALK ON PAYNE IS A DEATH TRAP.
doing this because i see folks struggling to get across every day. we need a light or at least better signs.
It's important to create safer crosswalks so people have more ways to walk/bike so less co2 is in the atmosphere by driving cars. Also so people won't be injured or be afraid of being injured when crossing the streets.

ive lived in phalen for 20 years and traffic has gotten crazy. nobody stops for pedestrians anymore.
