Halloween should be on October 31st. Changing a long standing tradition for Avon Football is ridiculous.

Unless the football team fails to meet performance expectations, they won't be playing the evening of Halloween, making the initial move poorly timed in the first place.

My kids were thrilled when they learned halloween was on a Friday this year! We were all so upset when we found out it was switched to a school night instead because of football. Not everyone in the town attends football games.

Will always support our sports programs here in Avon however, this is one of the rare times that Halloween is on a Friday. Our families that aren’t planning on attending the game should still be able to enjoy Halloween and trick or treating with their kiddos.
