Why are we changing Halloween? This is ridiculous. People took off work. I’m in college in Columbus and called off work to come home to my family and pass out candy in my neighborhood. You can’t just change a holiday a week beforehand because of a high school football game, really? Is that what we’ve come to.

City Council is allowing the murder of every tree and all wildlife so please also get rid of
the small town mentality. Most people don’t care about high school football and no one believes the City of Avon’s LAME excuse.

Avon is the only city in the area that is on the 30th. Other cities that have changed have either moved it to the 1st or 26th in the afternoon. We rarely have the opportunity to let our kids enjoy the holiday without getting up for school the next day.
