At the moment we’re not allowed to wear more than one stud in each ear at school or any jewellery. We would like to express ourselves without the risk of an isolation or worse as the school is now threatening to stop the year 11s from doing their GCSEs due to their nose piercings.
The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that Comberton Village College cannot keep ignoring our basic right to self-expression. They are threatening our education over piercings while we are fighting back with everything we have.

I understand this rule for pe but other than that, school doesn’t want students to be able to express themselves through jewellery and hair colours and only want pupils to look and behave the same without being able to be their individual selves!!
