I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS ALL WEEK AND THEY ARE FED UP WITH THIS PARKING MESS!! WE ARE PREPARING A FORMAL PRESENTATION FOR THE COUNCIL TO SHOW THEM EXACTLY WHY THESE CHANGES ARE VITAL FOR OUR DOWNTOWN SHOPS!!

THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! THE TOWN IS FINALLY WAKING UP TO THE FACT THAT WE DEMAND BETTER PARKING ENFORCEMENT RIGHT NOW!!

Its sad that council members don't have a good dialog with the merchants. It seems like you have to fight to be heard. What business will want to be in a downtown where their customers have no place to park! All I seem to hear is that " this has been a long time problem". Well then its about time for a fix or at least try to do something!
Parking in Towanda is so difficult that I have had to circle several blocks looking for a place to park only to find nothing. I end up not eating and shopping in Towanda. It is ridiculous to have places to go, and yet one can't get yo them because of the lack of parking.
You can only park for 3 hours total all day so how can there not be spaces. If you work in towanda your screwed. I did work in town and since the new guy took over he said buy a reserved spot. What a joke. So now I go to the valley. Thanks for killing our town towanda Boro manager.
There should be more spots to park instead of people parking the way they do..makes it hard for people coming down the streets to see if a car is coming the way another vehicle is parked..it's hard to see or tell...one way to cause an accident
You are literally killing downtown businesses. Look at the turnover in the storefronts- did we really need more storefronts?!? No! We need parking!!!
It was nice when you could park next to LIBERTY bank but now that's gone ...something needs to be done
4 times around the block? Cheaper to go out of town.

Courthouse employees have assigned spots but still insist on parking on side street and moving their vehicles every 3 hrs.
