Timberlake Park on Lake Sammamish is one of the few places where residents of Issaquah have been able to take their dogs for a swim. In this heat, having this option close has been incredibly important. People who use the park, and a majority of them have dogs, respect the park, their fellow dog owners, and those who are their without dogs. Recently, the park has been changed to a No Dogs park without any warning. The dog bags are gone and dogs are technically no longer allowed. We cannot stand by and let this happen. There are tons of places for people to swim, and very few for dogs. If you, like the founders of this petition, care to keep your park dog friendly please sign this petition. The only other options are Marymoor and Beaver Lake, both long drives and the water gets filthy in the summer when the dogs need it the most. We CANNOT LOSE THIS PARK. Please sign and help keep Timberlake Park on W. Lake Sammamish dog friendly like it always has been and always should be.
