This petition is to appeal to the New Zealand Government regarding the laws that are currently allowing foreigners to enter New Zealand and drive a motor vehicle. I believe that before they are handed over the keys to their rental car, they should have to sit the Learners Licence test-to prove their knowledge of the New Zealand Road Codeand that they know how to drive safely and responsibly on our New Zealand roads.

So dangerous. Renting a campervan to someone who has never seen our roads is a recipe for disaster. Fix this before more people get hurt

About time! I keep seeing tourists on the wrong side of the road around Queenstown. It is terrifying for locals who just want to get to work safely.
