The level of engagement regarding road safety standards has exceeded my initial expectations. This momentum indicates a clear public desire for meaningful policy reform concerning international drivers.

Too many close calls with tourists! Also had a close friend killed by a tourist on wrong side of road!
We see dangerous tourist driving practically on a daily basis around the King Country. Way too many accidents and near accidents. We travel a lot and we NEVER drive in foreign countries because we dont know the conditions and road rules...let alone the driving on the other side of the road. The very least NZ can do to keep our families safe is make visitors do a driving test
Have had an accident because of an American driving on wrong side of the road on a blind corner
stop leasing cars to people who cant drive our roads. they should hirer nz kiwi to drive for them thats jobs for us...

It's amazing how so many tourist cause alot of accidents here with little to no proof they can confidently drive! A test upon entering and wanting to drive on our roads would prevent alot of this dangerous driving

Keep our roads safe. Make all foreigners sit a test similar to restricted license before being allowed to drive on our roads
