My family member works fir PSD. THwy say that Espinda and his deputy directors are incompetent and make poor decisions. The news stories confirm that.

Director Nolan Espinda is running a criminal empire. The rule of law does not matter to Director Espinda, those who he has appointed, and many of those that are heads and subheads in his department. How much worse does it have to get before a change is made.

I believe a lot of people are afraid of retaliation if they post on here. What I see, hear, and experience is that our facilities are decrepit and falling apart, safety and security with memos and proceudures to understaff our watches and facilities are extremely disturbing, the hierarchy, administration, and threats of discipline to subordinates needs to be addressed and stopped, policies and procedures need to be updated for the better and not punishment, understaffing and inadequete equipment are frustrating for workers, and in light of the recent riot on Maui, all favilities.are overcrowded and overstressed. I believe that if you want the same, than Nolan is your guy, but if you want an innovator with ideas and convictions to make PSD a depatment that is unique and recognized throughout the nation, then someone else needs to lead this state.
