Royal Mail workers parking cars on Thorpe Astley Residential Estate

Very Dangerous and getting worse. Cars parked at junctions and off roundabout exits .

Also agree and I live off the foxon way which can be nightmare with these cars parking down here.Something needs to be done.

I wrote a complaint a year ago regarding the parking on Foxon Way after nearly facing a accident with a on coming bus! Unfortunately my complaint was not taken serious and a year on we still facing if not worse the same issues. This is very frustrating as I have to deal with the parking everyday getting in and out of Owen cl, completely agree double yellow lines is needed ASAP!

Rally annoying when turning out of Burchnall Road, massive blind spots

As I mentioned in my earlier comment double yellows. However, I am glad a few people here have mentioned the speed issue on Foxon way. My solution would be to reduce the road at the bridge/pedestrian crossing point to single lane, (build the pavement out to the middle of the road from the Aldi side) this would allow children to cross safely reduce the risk of head on when a bus has stopped at the bus stop and reduce the chance of incidents coming out of Owen close. Priority given to traffic from Meridian way.

They have abused the ability to park in my view due to inconsideration parking around people houses and virtually obstructing there driveways to total ILLEGAL parking up to junction corners and islands totally obructing the views for people having to pull out of Burchnall Road or Owen Close - and accident with serious injury waiting to happen. Not sure how the illegal parking is being ignored by the Community Police and passing Police. I have also notice litter thrown out of these cars including about 15 miniature Vodka bottles in December lined up against the hedging on Fox Way / even No side of Burchnall Road which divides the private driveway to the houses. Though I complain about it I now nearly always leave home via the opposite end of Burchnall Road for safety

Parking is one thing, but inconsiderate parking is another. Like everyone else we are fed up with trying to access/exit our own driveway on Burchnall Road as well as onto Foxon Way. If something is not done very soon there is a potential accident waiting to happen.

Double Yellow lines on Foxon Way would be an ideal solution and parking elsewhere in Thorpe Astley to be for resisdence and their visitor

Dangerous and annoying!!!

People parking around the estate make it very hard to see other cars coming along foxon way when exiting burchnall road. Cars parked right upto the corner you have to come halfway into the road just to see if its clear. Very annoying, obstructing and dangerous.

Careless parking by employees of local businesses are creating dangerous conditions for the residents of Thorpe Astley. Not only for people driving as the inconsiderate parking obstructs their view but for pedestrians who need to cross between parked cars. Moreover, the parking of cars forces people onto the wrong side of the road (as seen in the photo) and increases the risk of collisions with people coming out of the side roads whose view is obstructed.

What about double yellow lines as well

Double yellow lines and speed bumps are required along Foxon Way. People parking on the road is very dangerous and the vast majority of people exceed the speed limit along this road.

I am a resident of Foxon Way and I agree with this petition. The solution is to simply put double yellow lines along Foxon Way to prevent people parking on the road. I am not in favour of resident parking permits as this only causes a nuisance when visitors come to your house. Speed bumbs along Foxon Way are also a good idea as the majority of cars exceed the 30mph speed limit.

Please stop this. I have to drive past them everyday it's so dangerous. They park so close to the exit of the roundabout.
