Royal Mail workers parking cars on Thorpe Astley Residential Estate

I am in agreement with this petition.It is an absolute nightmare.My wife was travelling on the bus coming up Foxen Way when the driver had to swerve quickly to avoid a accident.They are also parking on Burchnall Rd.

We don't want to wait until someone is hurt or there has been a vehicle collision. This is DANGEROUS and also as there is a bus stop just before the bend on Foxon Way, that means drivers having to drive on the WRONG side of the road for an even longer period. Sort this out NOW.

I am in total agreement with this petition, the parked cars are a menace and a hazard to road users as well as blighting the lives of residents. It needs double yellows.

I agree in full the views of all regarding the danger to vehicle users and pedestrians in relation to the inconsiderate parking.

I support this petition the situation is becoming increasingly worse, and is very dangerous. I would suggest double lines and some form of traffic calming to solve this problem

So dangerous these days - can't even turn into my own street (Owen Close) without putting my life in danger. And the other part of the industrial estate (near Observatory) are parking or should i say abandoning their cars in my street too.. The grass verges are in a right state too for those who park on them. Yellow lines on the bus route roads are needed sooner rather than later.

Parking is getting ridiculous - suppose there will have to be an accident before anything is done - Owen Close is also getting the 'park anywhere' brigade too. Put some yellow lines in please....!!

Double yellow lines needed on Foxon Way before there's a serious accident.

This is 100% an accident waiting to happen, especially with the bus stop just abit further along the road as well. Surely some double yellow lines should put a stop to it!

This IS an accident waiting to happen! So many times I have come from the roundabout at the top of Foxon Way and had to move into the wrong side of the road, sometimes into on coming traffic (usually at speed) and I have had to perform an unexpected manoeuvre to avoid hitting the other vehicle! Cars pulling out of Birchnall Rd and Owen Cl have obscured vision making it dangerous for them and other road users. Please get this sorted.

With sufficient parking provided by Royal Mail,there is no need for the workers to be parking where they are.This needs to be solved before an accident happens

I am a resident of TA & have noticed the number of cars parking on the estate increasing. It is now causing traffic issues including making bus travel more difficult.

This parking needs to be stopped it is going to cause a serious motor accident and on numerous occasions I have seen people and school children trying to cross but cannot see properly due to the cars obstructing vision.

cars park on Burchnall Road from 7am until 11 at night which causes a nightmare for people living round the area.

The parking is an absolute joke, trying to pull out onto the Foxon way is very dangerous. It's even been know for of the workers to actually park partly across the Birchnall Road entrance/exit. Something needs to be done, before there is an accident.
