Fighting for tougher sentencing in North Carolina for DUI/DWI offenders that murder and leave innocent people fighting the rest of their way through life because of the injuries they suatained. We need a law implimented before Pasour is sentenced for her murder. This has got to stop. Our county has a mass amount of DUI and DWI offenders arrested weekly and it is horrifying to know they are pre-meditating the murder of innocent people. Sickness or not they still know that when they drive they are committing a crime. Should be a felony first offense. We are not responsible for these people keeping jobs or anything because of that felony charge. They may indeed seek true treatment if in fact it is a felony charge for first offenses. May stop them from even getting behind the wheel drunk. Until the law changes we won't know the true impact it can have. Please won't you show your love and voice for Laura or another victim lost to a drunk driver?
