My oldest son was hit and killed by a drunk driver at the young age of 17. This tragic event has left our family shattered, and every waking moment is filled with the glaring absence of his presence. The pain of realizing that justice might never be served, simply because time has passed, is a burden no family should bear.

Statistics reveal that approximately 28 people die every day in America due to drunk driving crashes, which equates to one person every 52 minutes (according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). This is more than just numbers; these are real people, real families, and real tragedies that affect communities nationwide. We need to stop protecting offenders with legal technicalities and start prioritizing victims and their loved ones.

Tyler was my first nephew. The amount of joy and happiness that he brought myself and my family are not possibly able to be counted.. We loved him so much. I run the day that this happened threw my head over and over again. Tyler was only 17 years old. Never would anyone of us thought in a million years that he would have been jerked at from us the horrible way that he was. My sister is has started this petition. So many driving while under the influence happen every day. We want justice to be done for Tyler. The truth is that so many families do not get the justice there families deserve due to the statue of limitations as well as other"(loop holes)within our system please sign my sister
This is for my cousin, Tyler Bishop. He was taken from us way too soon and the man that did this needs to be punished.
I stand behind you 100% there is absolutely no reason or excuse to drive drunk. Especially these days with all the alternative methods available. Exactly: Lyft, Uber ECT.
Let’s change that law . Bc to many people are being killed by drunk drivers and that law is helping killers walk free .. we need to do better for the loved ones killed by a drunk driver, bc they know they are just going to get a smack on the wrist.. and be free to drive drunk again and kill innocent people and children.. if this was someone’s important family member.. this Petition would not be needed .. bc they would get the max amount of time no matter what..:
Our system is such a wicked and corrupt thing! Please please please everyone sign to change these statues of limitations on this matter! We will get justice for you Tyler Craig! I love and miss you Bubba keep your arms wrapped tight around us as you have no idea how much you truly mean and are missed and loved by not only your family but many others who's lives and hearts you left footprints on! You got one hell of an army going to war behind you ty...we love you!
