If it gets kids out their room and puts a derelict piece of land to use, I am for it. I

Singing this to hopefully get this amazing site reopened i personally have been airsofting for well over a year now and know one of the head marshals very well he runs games with safety and strict rules in mind i hope to visit this site soon and enjoy everything thats been given to the local community

I would rather see the land used for this sport than go back to being derilect

People that dont know the sport will always have a dim view on it ? Should maybe nip along and see what its all about before judging it not to mention it brings money into the comunity its on all the local shops will benifit from it as players will buy products from there shops this site is run with highly trained staff and is run on a professional basis

This site is a good place and should be aloud to run as a airsoft site

This is a safe sport that covers all age groups, it involves small pellets not bullets that have a very limited range. There is a severe lack of physical activities in this area that allows people of varying abilities to participate in one sport like this be they fit or not so fit , male or female.

Let's hope this gets up and running , for year's this derelict site has been attracting people up there for all the wrong reason's , now there is a chance for something good to be done on this site .

We need a local airsoft site

The local area needs this as it's a sport an should be helped by the police an Council get youths off the streets an out of trouble an as it says keeps u fit an it's fun for all the family

What is the reason for closing this down as all have said previously it is making use of a derelict area positively instead of letting it become a drinking den or worse WDC hang your head in shame

Totally disgraceful and should be overturned.

Airsoft is a community sport and it should be recognised as such by councils and government and it's a huge benefit to say the least.

Using a run down site to promote a outdoor activity which promotes teamwork, dynamic thinking, leadership skills and fitness, in my book we should have more of these. It’s regeneration a run down derelict site

Do not shut it down please

Any local business that brings in outside customers to an area should always be welcomed as the players have a potential to contribute to the local economy either before, during or after the games by shopping in local stores. If the local people could appreciate the type of people that participate in the hobby/sport, they would realise that its plumbers, carpenters, engineers, tradesmen and well mannered youngsters who have the potential to do really well in life. Embrace change and grow with it.

It seems foolish to close an establishment that promotes physical exercise and is a social hub for people who play the sport of airsoft. I hope that the council reconsider their decision.

The site should be kept, it causes no harm to the area and is better than the alternatives.
