The WI To Follow the Equality Act

The Supreme Court ruling was correct! Women are entitled to single sex spaces for our privacy, dignity, safety and social activities. The suffragettes would know the law!!!

It's the Women's Institute. It should remain as such. Any man who wants to join is highly suspect.

The law is clear and WI should follow the Supreme Court ruling and return WI to being an organisation for women.

The failure of the CEO of the WI to support Women's rights during the horrific years of trans ideology is shocking . My WI in Mid Wales will be leaving the WI at our next AGM. We will be setting up our own Women's group in the village which will be for Women's only. The CEOs mealy mouthed response to the law does not reflect the feelings of the WI membership.

WI admitting men "living as a woman" is an insult to women. What does "living as a woman" even mean?!?

The WI was set up to enable rural women to spend time with other women and away from men. That is still necessary.

Good men stand back so that bad men stand out

I'm really sad that the Women's Institute doesn't centre women but AGP men performing femininity, using women as validation props. How many female members have been lost through self exclusion or not wanting to join a mixed sex organisation? Either include all men or ideally revert back to women only. I hope you are sued for sex discrimination under the Equality Act.

Please please can we stick to facts. ‘Women’ cannot include men, however they identify. If you want to include everyone it is time for a rebrand, the People’s Institute.

I cannot understand why the WI is going out of its way to alienate - um - women in this way.

The WI’s failure to comply with the Equality Act means I am unable to join the organisation. I look forward to joining when they realise the error of their previous ways.
