Dear Bush Street Family & Community,
My name is Brett Frost and I am the owner of The Summer Place at 801 Bush St. This letter is to notify you that we are applying for a Limited Live Performance (LLP) permit with the San Francisco Entertainment Commission.
We are applying for the LLP permit so that we can host limited entertainment. The LLP permit requires that entertainment must end by 11pm. Additionally, we are required to follow the Entertainment Commission’s Good Neighbor Policy (GNP), which is included with this letter for your reference.
We would love to have the option to run limited live entertainment, such as an acoustic music performer, jazz duos, or possibly a trivia night. We want to reassure you that this will absolutely not include full live bands or club DJs. Additionally, the Entertainment Commission will check our decibel and noise levels to ensure that we are correctly following noise ordinance requirements. We want to be considerate neighbors and members of our thriving community. In order to have the option to host a possible live performance, we do need this permit. Not only do we feel that this would be a wonderful asset to the neighborhood to have some live, local entertainment, it also generates another avenue of service to our guests, which we greatly need in these trying times.

We need more live entertainment in our city that is responsibly delivered. Brett's intentions are right on the money and would be a fantastic addition to our beautiful city.
This place is a staple on Bush Street and live music would be the perfect touch. Really hope this goes through.
