The parents of Bridlington School children should have the right to buy school trousers or skirts without logos from whichever retailer they see fit.

This idea is beyond me uniform expensive as it is now no parent will buy pair of trousers for 20 pound should stick to old uniform not fair that other students are ruining it for others and the staff trying to find a easier way to solve the problem

£20 for a pair of school trousers?? get stuffed! ill need at least 2-3 pairs and as im growing ill need more! k&a is overpriced and rubbish quality they get holes in within a month! im 5 ft 11 and very skinny and can bearly get trousers that fit me now neither mind these useless ones from k&a. you can get ones from primark for £5 so you could get 4 for the price of one!! fair enough punish the ones who break the rules but not everybody else. isnt this abit extreme. every students and parents ive spoken to say its a rubbish idea. a parent i know has 5 growing children and just for two pairs each will be £200!!! mr hornshaw and everyone else says if the price is too much the school can help out yet they should be paying for them in the first place! the schools excuse is 'to save the staffs time' yet they should be more bothered about the eduction that the uniform. beyond stupid and there should of been a vote on how to solve the problem of uniform not just doing this. half of the teachers look like tramps; why are they allowed to wear skirts an dresses yet the students are not! there should be a uniform for all not just the pupils. the female teachers wear skirts above the knee and vest tops showing their skin. dont employ male teachers if you cant trust them around female pupils; my friend has been told its because of the male teachers we arent allowed to wear skirts.

Get rid of skirts, fine! But stipulating badges on trousers to make them twice the price is outrageous. Like it isn't bad enough keeping up with the constantly changing uniforms for 2 children changing years!! Ridiculous!

Too expensive

Totally ridicules idea . Not all parents can afford the cost of these trousers and can buy 2 or 3 pairs of trousers for the price of 1 pair of these. If some of the children are wearing incorrect uniform it is not fair to punish the whole school by making them change. The ones who are wearing incorrect uniform should be the ones told to change.

I am a firm believer in uniform for school children however the enforced purchase of yet another item of logo branded uniform from one shop monopolising the supply and profiteering taking place is outrageous .this is not about solving the problems of a few individuals this is just robbery .

I believe that the new school trouser rule should not have been confirmed without the parents permission. It's not fair for us students to be forced to wear trousers that we won't find comfortable just because a few students don't follow the uniform rules. I will not come to school in those trousers as I don't expect my mum to pay £21.50 for my new school trousers.

i have approved trousers which is suitable to wear I don't see why I have to buy new trousers with logo on when the sutible trousers still fit her as I don't have the money to buy new trousers with logo on I think it's disgusting that I have to be penalised to buy new trousers when as from the start of the ecedemic year se had the correct school attire and has never wavered from it thanks ms m briggs

I don't see why are trousers have hi have the school logo on, it doesn't effect are learning either???? This is gonna be ridiculous for me as I am on a diet and my weight keeps changing!! You won't see the logo either as it will be hid by the junpers or cardigans !!
