The parents of Bridlington School children should have the right to buy school trousers or skirts without logos from whichever retailer they see fit.

Not fair at all. Not everyone has enough money you know! This is distracting our learning, put in iso if we refuse. I'm not wearing them, I've finially found some trousers I'm comfy in and they cost me mum £19 she ain't paying that much again for some trousers with a logo on. Pathetic.

my daughter starts September an always goes to school smart the concentration should be on education not clothes and making children feel isolated for not having the correct pair of trousers

My son who is currently at Bridlington School always wears correct school uniform, I am not prepared to replace his current suitable school trousers with the ones that I have been told that he has to wear !!

Why should the minority dictate what the majority already do? My child wears appropriate trousers to school already, good quality trousers that are a fraction of K&A's prices and i do not have to order them first., either. I thought, the council weren't allowed to recommend where to shop!?

Brid school strikes again. This school needs to start concentrating on the teaching, not what the children wear!

Absolute disgrace. Who do they think they are with such demands? Headlands school are as bad, sending girls home as they have the wrong 'style' of black trousers. I refused to give in and will buy any black trousers I choose!

Absolutely Ridiculous where do you think we get the money from to keep implementing these outrageous rules We have already had to buy extra uniform this year because our Daughters trousers did not fit the criteria .We strongly believe our kids will learn better if they are comfortable in what they are wearing and not been dictated to and placed in isolation because their trousers are too skinny . Come on Bridlington School get a grip of reality here .We fully support children been placed in isolation for misbehavior but just because their trousers are too tight or their skirt is deemed too short is ludicrous .

Many parents find it hard to afford the uniform as is. This is totally unnecessary to expect parents to have to pay for trousers with a logo that probably will not even be visible.

I am leaving school this year but by sisters still go to Headlands which will cost my parents a lot of money, plus they have to pay for shoes, shirts, PE kits etc.
