The parents of Bridlington School children should have the right to buy school trousers or skirts without logos from whichever retailer they see fit.

ridiculous I have a larger child at school and struggle with getting trousers that fit as it is I cannot get them in normal high street shops as the fitting is for skinny children I think this is outrageous and borderline discrimination to chubbier children please concentrate more on teaching and less on logos for trousers !!!!

I do not see why we has parents should be dictated to as to where we purchase our children's uniforms more to the fact what on earth happened to individuality?? Maybe the teachers should be forced to wear said uniforms too.

It's making things harder for us parents it's disgusting. It's all about education not logos!!!! They are on the tops you don't need them on the trousers it's hard enough to find trousers to fit each individual child as it is!!

This is ridiculous, we should have the rI gut to buy whatever school trousers we want for our children and I am telling you know I don't care about this policy so they can put my daughter in isolation and I will take her out of the school

As a parent of 2 boys I should be allowed to purchase their trousers from any retailer I choose. I have been disappointed with the quality of uniform from K&A. I have just recently purchased both boys some new trousers from Primark which will have done for the next academic year. I don't like wasting money.

It's getting beyond a joke now, why should girls not be allowed to wear skirts? I could think of some other words to describe this carry on but I don't think the school would appreciate the language I'd use.

I think it's unfair that we can only buy trousers from one place we should have a choice then be able to take them in to have the name put on

Think this idea is ridiculous not only is it far more expensive but my daughter is undergoing elimination diet to solve food allergies and her weight keeps changing drastically i would need to buy several sizes to fit and its not like the logo can be seen nor will they improve my childs education it will only gain the school brownie points or should i say the head mistress with ofstead

I support this petition. It is like history repeating itself. I did battle with the school in the 1990s about their uniform policy which was narrowminded and too expensive for lower income families to afford back then. Sad to see nothing changes.

It's bad enough they change the jumpers every couple of years
Not everybody can afford £40 cause you need at least 2 pairs
It's a disgrace especially when the teachers can wear what ever they like make them wear expensive uniform too then it will change
