Wedding vendors deserve answers. Across America, thousands of small businesses say The Knot & WeddingWire (WeddingPro) misled them into fraudulent advertising contracts, delivered fake leads, charged credit cards without consent, ignored cancellations, held vendors’ intellectual property hostage, and used their monopolistic industry power to radically raise prices on vendors - which negatively impacts the U.S. wedding industry as a whole.

It’s time for accountability.

Sign the petition calling for a Congressional hearing into The Knot Worldwide’s business practices harming the United States Wedding Industry. Your voice is powerful - please consider taking a moment to leave a comment with your signature, and fill out the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) simple Report Fraud Form : reportfraud.ftc.gov/

Seeing 500 signatures on this page reminds me that I am not fighting for my own small business alone. We are finally building the pressure needed to show that these practices have ruined too many livelihoods.

Watching this signature count climb reminds me of the sleepless nights I spent staring at my own bank statements after The Knot drained my accounts. We are nearing a hundred signatures but we need a massive surge right now to prove that this predatory behavior is a national problem that demands a federal response.

I’ve been a member for 14 years and have had so many issues and am being charged over $400 more than a local photographer that’s been with their company just as long. I’ve had so many fake leads, unauthorized charges, you name it.

Discriminatory pricing practices, non-performance on promises of quality leads, delivering fake leads, failure to perform on listing placement based on increased monthly charges. These are all fraudulent actions taken on by WeddingPro (TheKnot & WeddingWire)

Tried to re-subscribe and charge me $3600, without consent. When written nd verbally requested to cancel they said over the phone "the verbiage in your email needs to be i request to have my account canceled" when I instead wrote "please cancel my account". Unbelievable

Absolutely terrible experience with both of these companies. 60% of our leads were proven to be fake and it's they sell their services with fear and threats. I left after being with them at all our venues since 1996 and will NEVER go back.

They bullied me into paying them off and threatened me to take me to court when I asked to cancel advertising with them years ago. I wasn't on contract either. It's nice to see someone taking a stance for so many people and small businesses.

Best Day Ever Weddings + Events was promised an increase in SEO, increased in actual leads (most were either marketing employees or would not respond to my response), and actualized 1% of bookings in the year I advertised with them.

The amount of bride bots they designed are insane. After spending thousands with them and receiving hundreds of fake brides I’ve had enough. I even talked to a dude on the phone and told him about the bots and he acted like it was new information. I have a story which I’ll discuss over the phone. I’m too mad to type it here.

I was scammed by committing to a one year comment expecting real.leads, all I got was several fake leads and only 1 wedding actually booked.
