Barrachnie Road, Garrowhill is a main arterial route through our community but it is also a main thoroughfare across which our children, friends and neighbours cross each and every day. As members of the Garrowhill and local community, it is our desire to see safe crossing points installed along the length of Barrachnie Road. We are no longer willing to accept or tolerate the considerable risk to our safety or the safety of our loved ones posed by the relentless flow of vehicles. We, the undersigned, call upon Glasgow City Council and relevant stakeholders in the decision makings process, to survey for and install safe crossing points at one or more locations on Barrachnie Road, allowing our community to safely transit to school, work and to conduct their daily business.
