As most people now know, Liverpool Pride 2015 has been dramatically dowsized due to a number of factors including funding, 'weather' from previous years and lack of sponsorship.
The Pride committee have had almost a full year to plan and deliver the celebration the LGBT community of Liverpool not only deserve but look forward to on a yearly basis.

The volume of support for this petition has reached a level that demands a formal response from the Pride committee. I am currently drafting a letter to the organizers to request a meeting regarding their planning process and budget transparency.

Weather shouldn't be a factor at all manchesters gay village is not all indoors , sackville gardens , main stage both outdoor events , paying for tickets shouldn't be an issue pay in to get out of the event. Where has it all gone so wrong !!! With marriage and equality more free than ever before now is a time were we as a community should stand tall and be proud to have PRIDE in ourselves our community and each other's lives
America can change its legislation despite huge obstacles, but Liverpool Council can't give the support Liverpool Pride deserves? Come on Joe Anderson don't let this happen next year.
Jesus, it's "pride", not "hide away inside". Too many people in this community have to do enough hiding for the other 364 days of the year. Pride belongs on the streets.
Every year I go with my family and to here such a thing like this is shocking. How are we meant to celebrate who we are and help keep what so many people have fought for in the past.
Liverpool pride should be similar to Manchester, not down at the docks but around the clubs and pubs that work year round for a very welcoming gay scene

With so much that has gone on in our city over the last few years, all the tourists our city has had visit, all the money that's been made from such occasions, how do we have a lack of funding for such a important event in our city????
