Even if you do get to keep the crown, everyone will always see you as the spoiled little girl who didn't win, and cried and acted like a brat to keep the crown. And everyone will remember the girl who didn't get the crown as the real winner, and how mature and grown up she acted. And people will love her! Not you!

I don't see why she can't just share the crown it's not a big deal she should be mature enough to see that it's just a plastic crown. Personally this whole mess is not making her look good it's making her look immature and selfish.

Sadly the people that run this pageant have ruined it for everyone. As if you can safely ride the entire parade route without harassment now. I've seen these vindictive small townies. If I were you I would not give up my crown, & I wouldn't show up for their parade either. This is not going to get prettier from here. The pageant people need to get their act together or not do it at all. Now you've got a huge mess with safety issues. Not cool!

Molly should keep her crown. Those in charge of counting should have double checked her work prior to crowning her. Also, the 14 year old should never have been allowed to compete where she is related to someone running the pageant.
